Originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, Ben has acquired more than 30 years offshore experience. He started his career with the Bank of Nova Scotia Trust Company Limited in the Channel Islands, before moving to the Cayman Islands for ten years, where he initially joined CIBC Bank and Trust Company (Cayman) Limited before being appointed Vice President of Bessemer Trust Company (Cayman) Limited.
Ben has resided in Mauritius since 2008 where he acquired considerable African centric experience, building long term trusted relationships with private client families and their professional advisors across many cultures. Prior to joining IFC Consult, he held the position of Client Services Director at Accuro Trust (Mauritius) Ltd for the past 12 years.
He speaks English and French fluently and brings 30 years of multi-jurisdictional offshore private client trusteeship practical experience, thereby facilitating practical solutions to complex and technical challenges.
